I feel like the next thing we will be seeing is a seminar on how losing is a mindset, like in the movie "the natural" they bring in the guy to talk to the team about how to change the mind set, when the whole time the answer to they're problems was sitting on their bench. I'm not saying the answer to our problems is already on our team, but shoot we need something.

As long as Smith stays as starter, this franchise will forever be in "rebuild" mode. The mistakes will continue to happen, and a quick glance through Ninertalk tells you that most people think all our problems for the past 6 years have been despite Alex Smith's play.

Cut the guy, get someone new in here, and then do a thorough assessment of the team's strengths/weaknesses and build on it. I have a hard time believing that we are a 31st ranked offensive unit, especially since we have Gore (probowler), VD (probowler), and Crabtree (potential to be a probowler). A weak offensive line cannot be the sole reason, cause Ive seen teams with bad lines (see GB 2009) still have success.

Change Smith......end the rebuild phase.

Besides the fact that we're 0-3, look completely lost, make complete dumbass blunders, have a coach with IQ of a door knob, scored the second fewest points in the league, given up the most points in the league, and have a quarterback that wouldn't even be 3rd stringer on most other teams, we have nothing to panic about.

I'm not shocked enough to panic. I expressed my doubts when Singletary started talking the physical with an F stuff, smash mouth football stuff.

It's not that. It's sing's need of a scapegoat to buy him a few more games. He needs more time before his own firing. That's what this is about. The run up the middle 3 straight times and then punt was sing's plan any ways. Raye was just implementing what he was told to do.

Yes, definitely premature.

The majority of people who post are just as reactionary as the coaching staff.

I'm not saying there aren't significant issues. I'm saying that only an uneducated, or incredibly emotional person would attempt to claim that the season is over being 0-3 in this division.

Do things need to change? Absolutely. But that doesn't mean wholesale changes in coaching, players or management. That's just silly and unfeasible.

The reality is we're a team with immense talent. Yes, really. b***h all you want, be emotional about how the sky is falling. We have incredibly talent at most positions. Anybody with common sense will tell you that. It's a matter of utilizing it properly. Coaching staffs can adjust, just like players can improve. Let's see what the new OC has to offer. We have the ability to win this division going way. Yeah, really.
