It's the season over button and prepare for the draft.
Withdrawing support may be the only way to save this team. At this point, fans in the seats only perpetuate the dysfunction.

The Yorks need to sell, or learn to run the team in a fundamentally different fashion. So-called victories only solidify their failed world view - and ultimately - embed this team's status as one of the worst franchises in all of professional sports.

Winning post of the day.

I love how fans always say "I'm done I'm giving up on this team" and devote a whole thread to it like anybody really cares that you are giving up. Do you think that it might do something like wake up the ownership. I'm sure York is sitting up in his office saying damn mississippi sam just quit on the Niners I better do something now! Also why do fans always say " A real fan doesn't just sit back and take the loses, a real fan does something about it." or " a real fan doesn't just sit there and take it" Like you anything that us fans do really has any outcome on the field other than making some noise at a game. What do these real fans do? B*tch and B*tch and threaten to give up on the team! First off b*tching is ok, as long as you realize that's all that it is..........b*itching and moaning. It's fine to vent and be mad that our team is playing bad but to actually think that by crying you are helping the team in some way you are delusional! Don't callout other fans for backing the team anyway they choose as long as they are backing the team. Being negative isn't the only way to support your team. If they want to be postive and believe that we can turn it around(a little naive) then more power to them as long as they behind the Niners! They are doing just as much as any of you so-called real fans! Remember we are all backing the same team folks! As much as we all like to think we have an effect on our team because we are so emotionally attached to them, it just isn't so. Wether you complain all the time or blindly back whatever the team does it doesn't change anything with the Niners. So when you think about, anyway that you or whoever chooses to root for the team it all has the same outcome.........................NOTHING!!!

Why do people think this will help? All this does is give our team less resources to sign players and be able to compete while rising the chances that the franchise will leave for another city. It will make our team worse and maybe make us lose our team altogether! I'm not happy with the season so far but I don't want to see the LA 49ers!
0-4 week 4 is panic buttom for me and home philly with M. Vick as qb 0-5 / but im still a niner 4 life lol

Goodbye, both of you.

I don't get responses like these but I see them a lot...

Seems like NT is a good place to occasionally vent...

You can be a die-hard loyal fan and still get frustrated with a loss or with the direction of the team. That's what passionate fans do. Being a true fan means your gonna be frustrated from time to time...

if you can show where the OP threatens to abandon the team I don't see it. The title finger on the panic button implies this season is going down the tubes. It's not a lost season yet but getting there fast. I think all fans would have that impression after 0-3. But finger on the button is different than pushing that button. He's still holding out hope for a turnaround this year.

Exactly. We are called the 49er Faithful for a reason. Some faithful shouldn't be called faithful.

loyalty??? you are in wrong forum
how many other teams in the nfl have sucked as long as we have? Browns and Lions come to mind. Any others? I"ve seen other teams improve greatly while we've sortta improved and now it seems that we've declined.

The guillotine is being raised once again. Singletary, get ready. Looks like your proverbial head is about to roll. And I'm ready for it.
Sound the alarms! We need a miracle answered!
Panic Button?

I have already pushed the Self Destruct Button.

Heads should roll if this season doesn't turn around NOW. We are staring 0-4 and likely 0-5 dead in the face. We will be lucky to be at 2-6 at the bye week. That is unacceptable.

This team has tremendous talent all over the field on both sides of the ball. Still not getting it done. It's not like the team is in rebuilding mode. It's built. It's ready. Where are the results?

I don't think the problem is on the field. I think it's the coaches on the sidelines and in the management in the skyboxes. I like Singletary. I really do, but I'm growing very skeptical of him and his staff and philosophies. It sounds good when he says what he says about our identity, dominating the line of scrimmage, pounding the ball, playing great defense, etc... But it's not happening. It ain't workin'.

I'm done. I've got my proverbial guillotine ready to drop... I hope the owners do to (although I wish they could stick their own necks into it).

I feel your frustration man! I really do!! Stick in there. There will be better days :)
