In reality, it could help us because he has the physical tools to be a very good QB. We need to know what he can do. We can't let a possible talent rot away on the practice squad just because the coach doesn't like him. And people, save the BS about how he would be plucked off the practice squad if he was any good. Singletary scared any bidders off when he bad-mouthed the kid right before placing him on the practice squad. Teams would have taken a chance on him based on what he did in past preseason games alone because he's done more and looked better in those games than most teams' 3rd string QB anyway. At the very least, a team probably would have signed him to ride the pine and see if he can pan out down the line if Singletary didn't make him out to be a lazy retard.
