What advantage does it give the offense to have Norris in the game instead of Westbrook? I'm sure Westbrook is not a huge downgrade for run-blocking compared to Norris. If Westbrook had been the one to catch the ball in the endzone it would have been a TD. Not to mention seeing both Gore and Westbrook flanking Smith in shotgun formation would be sweet.

Westbrook should definitely see the field more, but in no way can he replace a FB. He'd get blown up by the LB and DL.

Not sure how the OP can say he can't see that much of a downgrade in Westbrook leading up in the hole vs. Norris. I think someone needs to read Football 101.
