This part of our schedule will make our break our season IMO. We need to go at least 4-1 to have a shot at the division. I'm hoping for 2 wins before this point. Even before the tough loss last week I was worried about our rookie o-line starting at Seattle and KC, 2 loudest outdoor stadiums in the league. But If we crumble during this part of the season, if we don't have at least 6 wins by Thanksgiving. Then our season will be done, with our December schedule.

So if you ever hear anyone before Halloween say Singletary should be fired, remind them about how this team has done a good job of beating average teams the last few years.

the bucs look scary now.

To be honest, the way we've been playing as a whole the rest of the teams we play look scary.

This is the softball part of the schedule. So it's tough to know if we should be getting excited about Troy Smith or not.

True dat. But I'd much rather him get warm and comfy now than in freakin Lambeau in a few weeks.
Well if most think this is the soft side of the schedule, this would be good work for Troy. Gaining experience is a good thing. Alex had his opportunities and didn't much with it. I believe Alex should be put in the closet with moth balls. Carr....well he should just dress in street clothes from here on out and retire.

he reminds me of a black Aaron Rodgers, he has zip and accuracy.

A Rams victory is not guaranteed either............

Well see i wouldnt mind if it was T. Smith playing the remainder of the season, if he shows he can win again in our next game. I expect an even better performance after the bye week.

I just highlighted the gaining experience a good thing, because we are 2-6. And it's still not over yet. May be close, but u never know. If we are thinking lets just put him in for experience sake then put someone else in that u want to win with. I dont want gaining experience. I want putting him in to win it every week.

Way of thinking goes hand in hand with performance, and if they are thinking lets get Troy in there to get his legs wet, then thats the wrong mindset. I want the QB behind center that we truly believe we can with with, not just gaining experience.
since the bucs think they are the best team in the NFC, they will be looking past us. I can't wait to smash them in the mouth. If we beat the rams and get some momentum and confidence going, we will be hard to beat.

maybe I'm over thinking this but my theory about the Rams is that they have played well because 5 games the first 8 weeks have been at home. I think that's important for their QB and offense.

I think like the Padres this year they will fade down the stretch. Although giving Bradford 2 weeks to study us does scare my a little. I like our chances at home. Depending on if the Niners and Rams are still in the hunt when we play @ STL in week 16 might be a different story.
