True, but Morgan has disappointed me thus far. He is rarely open. Good hands and a big body are nice but if your not getting open enough what good does it do.

I am still absolutely puzzled as to why the 49ers have not used Jason Hill, as least on ST where he is an excellent gunner. Also he has speed and has been productive when the choose to use him in the passing game. I haven't seen enough of him to rate him as a blocker but he must has p!$$ed in somebody's Cheerios to not even get on the field as all.
The guy was super productive in college with a barely mediocre QB. I don't get it.
also eddie royal stole a lot of looks
Royal went to Vtech Hill went to like Washington?

foreal can we try someone else? maybe not Ginn because if used correctly as the #3 receiver hes gonna be a headache all game long. id like to see jason hill or ziggy get a shot. zeigler doesnt wast opportunities. morgan has been looking kinda lazy and sloppy out there lately.

I doubt that is going to happen because morgan is doing a good job. Just look at the catch he had for 35 yards at the end of the second half. I think Zeigler would be a better #2 to be honest. Ginn is a good slot receiver and is just there because of he is a threat to go deep to.

Ginn is a passive WR that doesn't fight for position against DBs when the ball is coming. And I agree he has suspect hands as a WR.

Ginn is a good returner, but sometimes I just wish he would get it and go up field more decisively. He changes directions here and there picking up blockers and all. Maybe that's his style, but I think with his speed he should try to be more decisive and take off more quickly upfield.

He should be going on those deep patterns and not Josh Morgan.

Jason Hill got cut at the end of preseason - meaning that he had an opportunity to sign with other teams.
But instead he resigned with the 49ers...knowing that he wasn't really going to be used. My gut is telling me that he didn't get any interest from other teams when he was able to sign with other teams.

Dont know about Ginn but Ziegler is fvcking play maker. He's not the most physically gifted WR but he makes the tough catches. He's one of those WRs that makes the QB look good. He adjusts to make catches and I feel like Alex has a trust with him...i.e. "just throw it in his vicinity.." and he'll grab it...unlike everyone else that plays volleyball and tips it up to be picked.

+1. Morgan is slow and his usefulness as a starter has dried up. Ziegler can catch and he has better speed than Morgan to stretch that field which opens up the middle for Crabs and VD to get in there and do work. Morgan also has issues with his effort going after balls too. Drop him in the depth chart and give Ziegler a shot. Ginn is another Renaldo Nehemiah. Speed guy who is scared to get hit.

You dont need blocking wrs when you run it up the middle every play.
Yeah you do. Cause it's rare for a Back to stay between the hash marks all the way down the field.

Ginn was with Mia last year and they were 2nd in the league in rushing. His blocking is on par at the very least.
