We could use some extra work, to get the passing game and Alex ready for the season, to get the rookies on the Oline some work.
Let's hope we run more than the 7 plays we used in the pre-season last year.
I remember the Broncos fizzling out last year. I don't think the risk/reward injury wise is acceptable. Most of the starters know the system better now. 2-3 series tops, the 3rd preseason game have the starters play the first half.

First preseason game. Starters will most likely play only 1 series, but will depend on the number of plays.
If the Offense can put together a 8 to 15 play drive, that ends with a score, then they'll be done for the night. However, if they go 3 and out on the first drive, we'll more than likely see them for a second possession.
I'd prefer to see the starting D only play 1 series. No need to risk injuries in preseason. Besides, we already know what the D is capable of doing. The offense.......not so much.

The starters will play enough not to score. The subs will have to score. That's how it be.
