If Brady wins one more super bowl, than he > Montana, they are both comeback kids and very comparable QB's.
Those are the top two, then its Manning vs Elway (the two arguably most skilled QB's of all time) and I'd go with Manning cause... f*ck Elway and his damn used car commercials (if you live in Denver).

Its obvious that they are using Superbowl appearances as a main factor in the greatest of all times. That is the only way, Sims, Namath and Griese are on there.

I still dont understand why Brady isn't ranked higher. It should be #1Montana, #2 Brady
Why would Brady be #2?? He's about where he should be. If it because of Super Bowls then Bradshaw should be #2.
Brady has awesome numbers as well as Super Bowl Championships.
He is a top 3 QB of all time
Where would he be without a good kicker?
I would put Montana, Elway, and Marino ahead of Brady. Maybe Baugh, too. But I wasn't alive when he played. Walsh gave him a very high endorsement though, good enough for me.
who got the kicker in position to make those field goals?
Where would Montana be without all of his weapons, where would John Elway be without Terrell Davis?
You can do that with all these QBs.
Actually you CAN'T do this with all of these qb's
ALL MONTANA'S WEAPONS???? 81 and 84 he had little to none....Brady has only thrown over 30 td's 1 time in his career and that's only b/c of moss and welker...he only drove his team down in fg range only to have the best kicker maybe of all time win it for him b/c he chocked and couldn't convert on 3rd down unlike a Montana, Marino, Elway who are dependable....Wow.
Montana is probably the only qb to win 2 sb's with little talent on offense in 81???? Clark.....84 Craig and Clark. Almost every SB winning qb has had better offensive weapons than Montana did in 81 and 84. THINK MCFLY THINK?

I freely admit my list is slanted to more of the modern era of football 80-present. But, rest assured, I am aware of the wicked power that was Slingin' Sammy Baugh!

I did, and i think you actually should of thought before you made that comment. BRADY DID NOT WIN THOSE SB's.....the kicker and that killer D did. Brady managed it and did not much by himself to win it....Montana tore up the Dolphins and Bengals. Brady....what did he do against the rams?????? Philly he did ok and Carolina, but LOST against the giants with great wr's....unlike Montana and other greats that when they had help....they WON.
The dishes are done.

career TD-INT ratio
Montana 1.96/1
Brady 2.27/1

I feel bad for any youngins that were too young to watch Montana in live action. You could watch clips of him on youtube or whatever, but it won't ever feel the same. Just watching a game and knowing that Joe was due for a big play or that Joe was gonna pull some magic out of his ass was something else.

True, but Brady did only 1 time with 2 pro bowlers. Montana never had trouble throwing td's or yards even with not much talent (see 81 and 84), Brady always had trouble except with Moss and welker, hell we could throw td's and yards with them......really, i think Brady is a very good qb but not even top 10....close though. I also think that given so many people that know about football....how much is the qb and how much is the team, we should put this one to rest.
A lot of people on here know a lot about being overrated and underrated, Brady is overrated and not even in the same league as Montana, Elway, Unitas, and quite a few others. He is a great manager but a lot of other qb's are a lot better under pressure and the top 10 qb's on the list would never of choked like Brady did under pressure with Moss and Welker and that D....wow! (Elway did a bit but then again he did not have Moss and Welker)

Dude Otto @ 18??? Dude was a fkn pimp. before the SB & merger he took CLE to the league championship game in each of his 10 seasons, winning on seven occasions. sick!!! WHAT QB has ever done that? None. Prior to the merge with the NFL the Browns won the championship each year then in their 1st year in the NFL he lead them to a 10-2 record and a championship. GAMER!!! I'd put him at least #3
