I really hope that bum Favre plays in the pre-season game (if he returns), so P Willie can get him some old man, Brad Smith style.

To this day, I still think the guy's first foot was on the end line and thus, was out of bounds. Never saw one replay that clearly showed green between the guy's first foot and that back line. The ground level replay proves it IMHO... I think the official's gave Brett one. Wouldn't be the first time.

Roman had very good coverage on the play. Favre literally stuck the ball into the perfect (and only possible spot). Favre made an insane throw, Roman couldnt have covered it any better, Lewis dragged his toes.
the person most to blame on that play was Justin Smith for overrunning the sack.

lots of bad s**t happened, including roman for some reason using the wrong arm to try to defend the pass

All he had to was push him out iof bounds on the way down though and the game was over.
Or Bly make the damn INT
Or offence get 1 first down....
Either way it is another notch in Favre's belt. The scoreboard is like 11-2 or something and I will hate him, (but respect the hell out of him) forever.
From a glass half full poit of view, lets say we won. We're 4-1 with Hill still entrenched as the starter. He doesn't get pulled in Houston (after all he is the QB that beat Favre and Vikes) and Smtih never gets back in. We never open up the offence, maybe we win the same amount maybe we make it to 9-7. Either way we are still screwed with Noodle arm at QB and a brutal offence.
Not saying we are for sure going to be good, but at least we are in a position to move forward now, and might be really good over the next few years...hopefully.

U can't put that play on Justin Smith... Manny Lawson is just as responsible... he was running half speed while trying to catch up... he could have easily caused a fumble by getting the back of his arm just as farve began his throw, only of he ran fast enough... watch the play again... i give half that play to Manny...

The Network botched the top of the list, Colts vs. Patz was the best game of the season.
