well maybe san francisco is definietly the most cultural place in the bay let alone california, maybe even the US, not to mention the history here, we can start a new history in sc but 5 trophies here... walsh montana etc. thats sf and that cannot be carried to santa clara, the trophies will be shipped but candlestick is the spot. we also lose the wind variable which was a huge home field advantage
The Lombardi Trophies have been sitting in a glass case in Santa Clara since 1988.

Don't listen to this fool. Gavin Newsome is acting like a little girl and saying whatever he can in an attempt to keep the Niners in SF. He's been making ridiculous statements and at the beginning he tried to say there's no way they'd be able to keep the SF name. The fact is there's nothing he can do and the 49ers will keep the San Francisco name AND WILL NOT PAY FOR IT.
The reality is they would have to get a new law passed to not allow a sports team to use a city name other than where they play at. And most likely any proposal for this kind of law would be dismissed as nothing more than sour grapes if it was brought up by Newsome, and not be passed by legislature.

how about cultural diversity... different races, different foods, etc... and the blend of them all.. cant find as much in sc period. I dont hate the san jose area but period point blank no where near as much of a tourist attraction... Who ever goes on vacation to santa clara. And do you think they would go there on vacation even after the 9ners move...
