San Francisco wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan said he's impressed with the work Michael Crabtree has done so far this offseason. "He's changing his body around a little to be more ready for what happens during the season," Sullivan said, adding that Crabtree was mighty impressive last season even without training camp or the first five games of the season. Crabtree, who held out until mid-October, finished with 48 receptions for 625 yards and two touchdowns. "If you expand that a little and think about what he might have done with a little training camp, he's probably a 1,000-yard receiver as a rookie."

No, no, no -- it's because he's a "Singletary guy."

David Boston made this dude's career after one season and we all know that Boston was roided out. He was a sorry ass OC for AZ that one year. He's been with us for 5 years now and that's 5 years straight at the bottom of the WR barrel.

when you consider out quarterback situations, and the absolute lack of a true #1 receiver until last season...you are absolutely out of your mind...arnaz battle was his #1 for 3 years with trent dilfer, jt osullivan and shaun hill throwing the ball...gtfo

Crabtree still has a lot to prove. He showed signs of greatness last year, but I'm expecting a lot more out of him going forward.

Especially after all the hype he was getting coming out of college.

You gtfo..Antonio Bryant broke out under sorry ass TB and not under Sullivan. Jerry Sullivan doesn't even have a credible or relevant history in the NFL...freaken homers man.

You're putting that on Sullivan? AB was always wide open and could never get the ball thrown to him. That's on the QB. You might remember this line from the sidelines from AB, "Just throw it in the Urr (Air)!"

i believe sullivans job is to teach wr's to run routes, beat the jam etc, not to teach lineman how to block and the qb where to throw it. haters can rag on him but i believe if fired, he'd get another wr coaching job

The reason our WR core has been sorry under Sullivan is way more on the talent we have had at the position. I don't care who was the WR coach, they would have been a s*itty WR group.
