Hey McFly. The Rooney rule is for ALL minorities. Its funny that as sonn as the rooney rule was made in 03, more minorities won the Gig game then at any time in history.

That couldn't have had anything to do with the fact that at that time there were more minority NFL coordinators than at any time before, which has nothing to do with the Rooney Rule could it?

1. Trade for Ted Ginn ='s wasted draft pick b/c Tedd Ginn sucks, and has brought nothing to the team.
2. Trading away 4th round to move up for A Davis ='s a complete throw away of a draft pick.
Too early to really tell on his draft picks, but they don't look impressive at all. Iupati was a great pick. Hopefully Davis comes around but his growing pains have been a lot worse than I thought they would be. Taylor Mays was a wasted pick. Bowman seemed like a steal but time will tell with him. All the other guys are basically insignificant. the big question with this draft is how smart or stupid was it to draft 2 1st o lineman. With the secondary looking so poor, and 0 pass rush one of those picks could have been used on a number of other players. And at the end of the day this teams' talent evaluation comes down to Baalke and Singletary. they both have failed. I wouldn't mind if a experienced GM kept Baalke on as a scout and understudy. I just think Baalke needs more time but not sure this franchise at this time is the spot for on the fly learning.

I agree with that. I just never liked the Mays pick to begin with and just don't think he will be good. The rest of the guys all have time to grow. I was high on A Davis myself before the draft. And they really should help Davis out more. I don't think Baalke had done anything over the top bad but I just would prefer a more experienced guy. I guess to me this all just seems like it's still the Nolan regime and I just was to clean overhaul of the front office.

Because his job isn't to tell Sing what to do. That's one problem about a 3-headed front office. No one wants to man up and tell coach what to do.

I think it's not due to not hiring a guy because of his color but allowing owners to know more about unfamiliar coaches trying to get a foot in the door. It helps with the ignorance of an applicant rather than going by here-say from the good ole boy network or just from most white coaches having more experience.
