That article he wrote really bummed me out. After the high of learning about P. Willis 5 year extension, it seems like Matt really dogged the team. He really had nothing positive to say about the 49ers. WTF MM? Are we finally seeing his true colors?

I don't think he dogged the team. I mean how much positives can you put on a 8-8 team? I agree sort of that the 2 rookie linemen might be a step back at first but once they get the hang of it we should have an awesome o-line for years.

Last night I caught the classic 98 game against the Jets. Man, I can still remember being so pissed about the Niners in the late 90's. There were glaring weaknesses for years that you just never saw between like 83-95.

And this teams does not even compare to those late 90 teams at all.

Exactly, what is it some of you guys expect. For the world to bow down to the average 49ers who year in and out their biggest positive is their potential.

I knew this was was gonna happen, Maiocco has crossed over to the media-elite 'bias', so expect his articles to be more and more heartless/subjective within the foreseen future.

But people must also never forget (even since he was writing for the Democrat) that Maiocco isn't even a 49ers fan to begin with, but a neutral/professional writer.
