i hope he improves under Solari and Brown.
no que muy "pancake city" este guey. step up Chilo or there will be someone there to take your spot.
I just hope that he starts out this season playing closer to the way he did toward the end of last season versus how he started out last season.

Good read, Glad to see him taking on that sort of work ethic and attitude
At least he admits to a poor start and better play at the end. Hopefully Solari/Brown can get him to play at a high level the whole season.
Staley, Iupati, Heittmann, Rachal, Davis
Sims, Baas, Baas, Boone, Boone
This mofo better step it up this year! If not he will be a bust and Bass will take his spot.

If Chilo can turn into a good player our line is looking real good for a real long time
A position as technically sound as OL needs to be, I think the OL coaches play a huge factor in the success of their players. Let's hope we have improved in the coaching department.

Personally, I think we have and ALL of our Offensive Linemen will surprise us.
His play will also improve by comfort and stability throughout the line. A few more tweeks here and there, but the line should be solid for ALONG TIME.

2010 - Staley Iupati Heitmann Rachal Davis
2011 - Davis Iupati Heitmann/Bass Rachal Staley

2010 - playoff appearance
2011 - superbowl push
This is a big year for Chilo. He needs to step up and not only play to his potential, but he needs play more consistent, especially if he is going to have a rookie (Anthony Davis) playing next to him.
I'm with GM. Snyder certainly had a poor year, but Rachal struggled, too. I'm sure both of those guys playing on the right side didn't offer each other much help.

If Rachal starts at RG, I think they will be more conservative with Davis getting in the lineup.

And this worries me a lot. Inconsistency next to a rookie. That doesn't imbue me with confidence.

If you can have faith in Solari and Brown developing Iupati and Davis, then have some faith in the coaches to further develop Rachal, Baas, and Snyder to occupy the other OG spot.
I actually forecast a probowl appearance for him.
I'm hoping Chilo steps up his game too. The coaches talk about how he has all the tools, let's hope he puts it all together, and consistently.

Side note, Anyone ever hear Chilo talk? He sounds a lot smaller than he is

That also concerns me, but I'm hoping Davis is physically talented enough to dominate at RT and help the offensive line become a grinding machine, we have the physical talent to be an intimidating offensive line, lets hope they get it together early in the season and straight up dominate by week 13 when we have hopefully won the division by then
