Let's put it this way...Kwame Harris played better than Snyder did last year. So to answer your question, I'd take Boone over Snyder any day of the week, but only because I'd take ANYONE over Snyder at this point.

Boone is definitely motivated as evidenced by his physical transformation. Although it doesn't guarantee ghis actual football performance, I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and hopefully our o-line coaches will be astute enough to determine the better man. As others have said, it'd be hard to do much worse than Snyder. Hell, Smiley's available again, isn't he? And he's certainly better than Snyder; at least he was.

Highway 77 didn't play last year

Snyder may have "sucked" statistically but I don't remember any TD being called back on account of holding on him

My point is, when Harris played for us, statistically speaking, he did better than Snyder did last year. As our RT (not counting his play anywhere else along the line), Snyder gave up a league high 10 sacks along with 8 hits and 13 pressures in 2009. Not to mention, we only averaged 2.95 yards per run off RT last year, which was 29th in the league.

Snyder couldn't pass protect for sheeyat, and he was horrible in the run game as well (something Kwame did pretty well).

That combination is as bad as it gets.
