Craig's number isn't retired?
Nope.
Tony Parrish wore it...Thomas Clayton wore it...Dedrick Dodge wore it...Hell, I think even Lawrence Phillips wore it.
Wtf that s**ts not right.
ya its wierd how teams decide what number to retire and what not, nobody should wear craigs 33, but then dez bryant is wearing irvins 88, its messed up as u would think both players are no brainers to have their numbers retired by their respective teams
Dallas is a little different tho...they don't retire Jersey #s at all.
Dez Bryant isn't the first guy to wear #88 in Dallas since Irvin wore it...hell, he isn't even the first BRYANT to wear it. Antonio Bryant wore it when he was in Dallas.
Raiders also dont retire them.
Retiring NUMBERS = the number is never worn by anybody else after retirement
Retiring JERSEYS = the jersey (NAME & NUMBER) of a player is retired (more like honored), but the number is still available for future players.
49ers retire NUMBERS
cowboys retire JERSEYS
raiders do neither
btw, i believe Antonio Bryant wore #81 when he was w/ the cowboys
Like I said, Jersey #s.
Antonio Bryant wore both while in Dallas.
