I disagree. You create your offense around your play makers. You don't force your players into an offense that they just aren't good at executing. D Walker would not be a starting TE on most teams in the NFL. I don't even think he would be a starting RB on most teams which was his original position.

Just so you know, In case you didnt. Dlove was a WR in college. Put him against LBs and safties and he will dominate. Thats what you call playing to your players strengths!

Ok WR in college. No way has Walker been dominate. He's been a role player and it's time to use him less. If you talked about his Special Teams value I might believe you but dominating in games? Really??

If he were matched up against safties and LBs more he would dominate, Yes! We have yet to be very creative with our 2 te set. I`d like us to open up that formation much more.

You figure D-Love has been a TE long enough that he should be a somewhat decent blocker by now. And we know both DLove and Davis got the speed to line up wide.

I don't know how feasible this is, but just imagine if we ran a 2-WR (Crabs, Morgan/Ginn), 2-TE (Davis, Walker) formation with Gore in the backfield... we could run pretty much any formation we want, we can split either DLove or Davis out wide and run a 3WR formation with the other lined up either at TE or at FB, we can rotate them one at TE and one at FB and run an I-formation, we can split them both out wide and run a 4-WR formation... and we can do all this in a no-huddle offense, we won't let the defense sub in anyone, they're gonna have to play the pass off of their run D. The possibilities for creative plays are endless!

I think Alex has the smarts to handle and adjust such an offense, I really wish we would implement something like this. And up until now, I didn't think we had the o-line to run such crazy shenanigans, but with our revamped line, I think it could totally work!

Whoa, Sit the season out?! Did you watch anything last year..? I think Walker was doing a great job, and he is dangerous when he gets the ball in his hands..much more so then some of our receivers...I can see maybe using the set a little less...but cutting it out completely? No way!

sandiego charger... I mean 49er, as I recall . Everytime delanie has gotten the ball in his hands I've seen him make something out of it, he just seems to always miss breaking it big for the score. His time will come where he will become a threat for this team, you wait and see.

He is a suprise when we need a 1st. It's not like he is a regular part of our package and something defenses are used to seeing. If you noticed at all, D-Love became more and more less effective as the season progressed, and teams had a chance to study him on film.

The guy has 2 career toucdowns and 233 yards is the highest output he's totalled over his career. Adding into the fact that he doesn't contribute much in terms of blocking I just don't see the 'zones mad love for this guy, He seems easily replaceable. I like the two TE set, but lets draft a real TE before we use it a lot.

I wanna see a 2 TE Set with Sims and Snyder reporting in as TE's and Move Davis to WR every once in awhile and lets SMASH SOME FOOLS

I'm not saying as a base offense, but it would be interesting to see a package like that in short yardage situations, old school power football

I am expecting the same Raye's offense from the 2001 KC Chief this year. Go take a look at those stats. They are far from This 2-TE set works perfectly for this team especially since we upgraded our OL.

Not a fan of the 2 TE stuff either. You see alot of teams bringing in 6 offensive lineman in rushing situations and in passing situations going multiple receivers. Personally I like that alot better than 2 tight end sets and motioning your receiver into the backfield.

2 TE sets combine the virtues of power running and the spread.

Bellichek just drafted 2 TEs, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez to compliment Randy Moss and a fine slot receiver, Wess Welker. Both TEs can catch and block.

I'm looking forward to seeing us create mismatches out of 2 TE sets next season.

This team is built for 2 TE sets. It just makes sense.

Walker creates some mismatches and I like the idea of two TEs. I think it makes it tough to figure who to cover in this set and can disguise which way to run. It's not like we play the whole game this way. I'd actually like to see more of it and more of walker in the backfield tacking some handoffs or PA screens.
