3. I think Ginn will be the KR/PR and we don't keep Vann on the 53 man.
4. Curtis Taylor makes the roster.
5. Moran Norris keeps his roster spot for another year.
6. Boone over Snyder? . . . maybe next year.

SNYDER sucks have you been watching any games????

Moran Norris is slow and old

Both players are pretty much guaranteed on the roster bro-ham-duder.

I disagree with one thing...I think that we only keep 5 CBs (Vann is the odd man out) and mckillop makes it for special teams

Have I been watching any games? Really?

Snyder has been a disappointment for a 3rd rounder for sure, but he has five years in the league and 54 starts under his belt at four positions which obviously would make him a valuable back-up. Boone will need an exceptional camp for the team to let Snyder's game experience walk out the door. Anything is possible, but I believe Snyder will make the 53 man again.

Moran Norris is getting up there but his camp competetion is crap IMO.

Ziegler is 6'3 but he is a pencil at 185 lbs. He gets pushed off his route too easily. Plus Ginn will stretch the field, J. Hill will play slot (they will have two different roles). Williams will make the team as a PR, but being a rookie he wont challenge J. Hill as the teams 3rd WR.

1. Crabtree
2. Morgan
3. Hill (slot) if healthy stays in the spot
4. Ginn (flanker)
5. Williams
6. Jones (due to injuries)
7. Ziegler

Ziegler is no different than Taylor Jacobs. He is going to be a project on a practice squad, and might get a few snaps a season, but will never crack the top 1/3 of an off season depth chart.
Thats how my depth chart reads.
I think I would agree with most of the choices except Sims and some recievers. I just do not think it pays to keep Sims solely to back up Staley. Snyder did pretty well early on and we have Anthony Davis to move over if needed as well as Boone. Sims is a 1 year deal and you do not possibly lose a guy like Boone for a temp who may not even be as good. In case you have not paid attention Boone has stoned many would be pass rushers and while his foot speed may not be as quick as Staley's, he has quick reactions and I saw him rarely get out quicked out of position and he makes Sims look weak at run blocking. I think Boone now is equivilent in ability to many OTs who started last year as rookies. As for recievers, I am a bit dubious of some like Jones and Ginn. We have our primary recievers and with Williams, Hill and possibly Ziegler, we should be set. I do not see how an iffy catcher is any benefit and IMO Hill and Ziegler are much more reliable in situations. Williams may be quite a help if his quickness is as advertised. He may be as fast as Ginn and much quicker and I think I would prefer quicker then fast. I also feel Wilhelm is insurance but that McKillop and Bowman are going to stick while Briggs also sticks. I may be wrong but I think if Curtis Taylor is on the practice squad, he is gone. I think Lewis is best let go to retire. Concussions are
dangerous and he has had his years. It is funny how we had no proven safeties at the start of last year except Lewis and now we have a surplus. The young guys may make a few boners but I think they will be worth it. Manny Lawson looks like he is stronger and Briggs looks huge. The niners are fortunate that most of their talent is young. I think if Goldson is so avaricious, I would trade him and keep Reggie Smith, Curtis Taylor and Taylor Mays.

FB Jehu Caudrick I think beats out Norris.....
- QB, no changes
- RB, no changes
- FB, Norris probably makes the team because of his blocking...not sure either Miller or Caulcrick are ready to be starters yet. Miller could still make the roster on ST's.
- TE, no changes
- WR, believe they'll keep 5: Crabtree, Morgan, Hill, Ginn, Williams
- OL, no changes
- DL, they'll keep the veteran Evans...he's good for Balmer and RJF's development.
- LB, either Briggs or Laboy doesn't make the team...McKillop does.
- CB, Vann doesn't make the team (PS)

This is what I think is gonna happen, except Vann wont make the team so insert the next best CB (Will James?) and I would be surprised if they took Miller over Norris since he is Gore's lovechild. Miller will be on the PS until Norris gets hurt or shows his age this year, and then move him up.
