Taylor Mays bashes Pete Carrol

Now Im by no means a Pete Carrol fan and have no problem with people bashing him. But I for one did not like hearing that during his first interview, Taylor Mays responded by bashing Pete Carrol, yet Ive heard nothing about how happy he is to be a niner. Hes displayed why hes still sitting in the 2nd round. Immaturity. Sure, holding a grudge against a division rival could be a good thing, but I for one did not approve of this. How about some profesionalism for christ sake kid, your in the NFL. He also blamed Pete Carrol for him falling into the 2nd round. Accountability is needed if a player is going to improve on anything. Not denial, just ask Tebow. Maybe now hell realize how much work he needs and will begin doing it. The kid is talented and I like the pick, especially for Madden cuz we needed some speed. LOL.

He's just calling Carrol out on giving him false information. He asked Carrol straight up, do I need to work on anything to help me get into the NFL, and he says no, every aspect of your game is good. Then he hears how bad his hips, his coverage skills, his tackling is.

I hope this is the case. I dont mind him being up front, but his fist moments as a niner will always be remembered by his statements against Carrol. I just hope theyre playing on a Hall Of Fame tape in Canton in 20 years.

I thought he was just being honest and was genuinely happy to be playing for the same Pro team as Ronnie Lott. I like a player who feels he has something to prove.

LMAO. Have you watched any actual games he's played? Draft Highlights and the whuppings SC put on your sorry college team don't count.

He was a gaurenteed top 15 player if he came out last year....Carrol talked him into staying. Id be pissed to, he still could have played better last year, but he became a 3 time All America again last year so......

Well Carroll took a shot at Mark Sanchez, Carroll is a total douchebag. He probably deserved what Mays said about him, not that I condone the timing of it, or that Mays made it public at all.

I guess it's par for the course among former USC drama queens.

I am an SC fan partner. I watch all their games. How do you watch SC games? Everybody knows all the studs. Once I know a Trojan is going to get drafted I start looking at them through NFL goggles, not just bow down and quake cus they are dominating in college.

This kid never projected well to me.

For the record, I LOVED him at SC. I am simply expecting lots of head aches from him now that he is a Niner
