Anyone else notice that NFL Network ad where they say "bold super bowl predictions," and as they do, they cut to a Niner (I think Vernon Davis).

I know I'm reading into something that probably isn't even there, and that even if it is, it doesn't mean anything. But I feel really good about this season.

I also noticed that. And I remember thinking exactly what you said.

With Alex Smith as our starting QB Seattle will win the division. Uggggghhhh Pete Carroll wins NFC West ughhhhhhhhhhh, that sounds awful. Us 2nd then Zona 3rd with Lionheart. no Dansby, and no Boldin.

Aww, c'mon. With Alex looking better, the Niners not losing anyone important, and likely improving the roster through FA and the draft, and the rest of the division weakening, our outlook is good.

Have some faith.

We will prob waste a pick on clausen, and draft a WR, and not fix the oline or secondary problems.. and come up short again.

Lol, well that's positive thinking.

If we draft Clausen & a wideout I will hate the draft and Baalke, but I really don't think either of those will happen.

Waste? Dude is better than the QB we got. And he isn't Sam Bradford, but shoot 28/4 INT ratio and he wasn't even a senior dude has real talent. And our secondary problems aren't that bad, I mean Nate is still is a really good corner Dashon is a real good player and Shawnte is a good number 2 corner, it's just teams gotta throw against us and unless you got Chris Johnson you ain't gonna run against us, so you gotta throw, like the Vikes the last couple years and they had Winfield and a probable HOF safety. But we better get a RT at the least if we talkin' bout the O-line.
SF 10-6
SEA 7-8
ARIZ 6-10
RAMS 3-13

Ariz lost too much and Hasslebeck can still win a few here and there
9ers 10-6
AZ 7-9
Hawks 4-12
Horns 2-12

Will be easily the weakest division this year but we will be King of sh*t hill!

They forfeit a game early in the season so the team plane can fly to Alaska, and send Hassleback off into retirement on a giant iceberg!

Yeah? Well, Alex had a 21-1 record in college. Don't spout f**king statistics from college

Record vs production are two very different things. I mean Brady Quinn had a decent record in college, Ken Dorsey as well so what? I'm talking how a guy plays what he accomplished as a player, not what he helped do with a team. Clausen even after stud Michael Floyd went down still played well and in a pro style system no less, even though most of the rest of his team were average. And the dude has a pro style arm he can throw with range and is accurate, and he wasn't even a senior, bottom line dude has real promise.
