we dont need an injury prone player

This is football. Every guy that practices and plays is prone to injury. The ones that don't get injured are lucky.

Wut about P willis??? never missed a game in 3 years...

Good job. You just f**ked us with that post! Thanks a lot for the jinx.

P.S. He just had surgery. But that wasn't because of a football related injury was it?

no its was very minor sergury.. I just had to get My ACL and both my minescus done.... now that is sergury buddy

Nope, that was surgery.

Anyways, surgery is always serious. Surgery = cutting tissue. Also, P Willy was out last TC too. He's lucky not to have missed time in his young NFL career. Bringing it up or talking about it like you did is bad karma though...

dude bersectomy is no big deal

Ya, maybe not in the NFL. But it would be to me and most of the rest of us. The procedure and recovery would be a big deal to me. Which is my point, NFL players are prone to injury. It's the nature of the game. Just because a guy gets hurt doesn't mean he's "injury prone", it means he's a football player.

wut u scarred? you live in a bubble like i said i had acl and meniscus sergury... do you kno wut that is??? cant live ur life in a bubble buddy

WTF does what you went through have to do with me being scared or the fact that men that play the most violent sport on earth are prone to injury have to do with anything?

Not sure just stirring the pot

"Just stirring the pot" for no reason but to start stuff is called "inciting" here and is against the rules.

lol all i was saying u cant be scarred to get hurt playing sports....

Still has nothing to do with what we were talking about.

stop crying
I had a crainectomy and crainoplasty..now thats surgery

Hill > Jones

Jones could be a very nice 4th wr, but not at what we paid him! One of our worst FA signings in recent memory.

Not according to the Matt's observations from last camp. Hill has always been the odd man out because he can never stay healthy, but I remember Jones being the best receiver on the field when all were practicing together.

We all know the money he's making makes no sense, but we may be surprised.

Key word being "practice." All I know is everytime Hill steps on the field he makes plays. Dont get me wrong, I would like to have a guy that practices well and plays well in games, but at the end of the day I'm picking the guy with production.

I'm so tired of the NFL Copy cat league. Because of guys like Randy Moss and D.Jackson now everyone wants that big deep recieving threat. The same can be said about CJ (speedy back) and OLB (Monster Passrusher). How about just playing solid sound ball in whatever scheme you play with the guys you have. I'm convinced almost any style wins as long has you have the right players and you execute.

He's a scrub who sucked with the Titans as well. Dumb signing at the time, even dumber now.
On that one catch he made, he looked AWESOME. Remember, in the game @ Seattle? LOL.
Someone make a 09 Brandon Jones highlight reel!

Not really. Go look at the post where the guy breaks down the Philly game and why our drives stalled, Hill dropped like 2 or 3 crucial passes. He actually had a few drops last year that he definitely should've caught and that doesn't help when you're glued to the bench. I'm willing to give Jones just as much of a chance as Hill, neither of them have earned the 3rd/4th WR job yet.

Interesting, I dont recall that at all. I would love to rewatch games, but dont know how. I only save them on my DVR then erase them after it gets full.

If the breakdown is just stats it's not as compelling as there are a lot of things stats dont tell, like where was the ball thrown.

Not sure why we gave this guy a big contract last year... 1 catch in 2009... am I crazy or should this guy be cut by now?

Jaon hill will beat Jones out for the # 3.
