if you watch nfl total access then you heard dukes and woodson both say the niners are next years cinderella team without any hesitation. what do you guys think? is it a good thing or bad thing to be considered a cinderella.

on NFLTA, Eisen was closing out, ever the company man, brought up how fans get to watch a plethora of early pick QB's battle in the NFC West. Totally selling to all the young fans who think you rank QB's by where they were drafted.

It was pretty funny, Woodson and Dukes did a pretty good job holding in their laughter

Its just like that '06 7-9 season, Norv Turners last year here when Alex Smith looked decent and everyone was d!ck ridin' the Niners as the "sexy" pick for the '07 season back then and they went 5-11. I've come to expect nothing.

It's a good thing for the 49ers they are in such a weak division, because that is the only thing that gives them a chance at the playoffs. We keep seeing them stumble every offseason, and this year is no different with the latest news. They are just not a very well run organization. The top teams in the league don't have these kinds of issues every year, and wouldn't remain at the top if they did.

Meh.

Yeah we were dick rode hard that year, but we also were when Martz came and also before last season.

Luckily despite our recent front office problems, I do believe our actual roster is good enough to win the West and if we win, all of our problems will go away.

We are not ready....We are very late in getting to the playoffs. That's an expectation I have had for years now......But deep into playoffs..I just don't see it. If you realistically see us as being comparable to the 1981 'Cinderella's', please point that out to me.

IMO, the Niners are wasting this off season. Clearly the Cards have lost a grip load of talent. The Rams are.....well, they're the Rams. The Hawks look like they are trying to re-tool in case Hasselbeck goes down again.

And the Niners have made ZERO attempts to address any areas of major concern. It seems they're content to sit around and wait for the draft. Does anyone else think this could be a mistake?
