McCloughan has no eye for O-line talent and weak drafts

We have 3 starters from those 2 drafts. Too soon to really critique the 2009 draft.

3 starters?? Were trying to replace Bass, Snyder and Chilo. Remember Chilo got benched last season but got his job back because Pashos got hurt and Synder had to play RT.

I never said they were good starters. Fact is Crabtree, Morgan and Chilo are starters from those two drafts. You never know how guys like Coffee, Nate Davis and McKillop may progress.

Not the best drafting but not the worst either.

Our Oline isn't as bad as some of you make it out to be. We need a RT. Big deal. They aren't too difficult to find. I see you conveniently left Staley out of your little tirade.

Baas was concidered the best C/G guard in his class. Rachal has talent, he's just really young. I didn't agree with the Wallace pick, but it's important to have depth and we had nothing behind Heitmann. Changing OCs every year doesn't help these guys any either. IMO, if someone is to blame, it's moreso the coaches' fault.

Plus, while Scott was sleeping on the Oline, he built a pretty nasty defense. It's not like the team isn't trying. We were close to drafting Oher last year, but Crabtree fell. I think we made the right choice. Sure, we still have a few holes, but we are a long way from where we were just a few years ago, when there was nothing to cheer for.

Hey bro, think of who the best GM in the league is and go check out his last 4-5 drafts. You'll be surprised at how many no-names or back-ups there are.

The fact that we have gone from the worst team in football to 8-8 shows you that we're doing something right.

I didn't know every draft pick was supposed to become a starter right after being drafted or make the team at least. I suppose every GM is having that kind of success except Scotty. I don't know where I'd get my football knowledge from if I didn't have abundant supply of fresh threads on the Zone.
