The guy Gary Plummer hit in the SNF game in 1995 was Derrick Holmes of the Bills based off of memory. I was 9 years old and at the time it was the longest defensive return for a TD in SF history. I believe he broke Alvin Randolph's record for 96 yards back in the 60's for a TD.

Smells like someone googled. That's an awful lot for a 9 year old to remember from a Sunday Night regular season game. Not only to remember who he actually hit but to know that it was an SF franchise record and know the details of Alvin Randolph's record from the 60's? Come on now...

LMFAO you dont know me very well dude. I got people who will vouch for me on here knowing my s**t. I actually was telling my brother about this and when it comes to my 49er knowledge I have watched almost every game since I was 8 and know my s**t from 1979-present. I am not bragging but I have always been into NFL trivia in general since I was 10. Just because I know my s**t doesnt mean I googled. Wow this is my first post in MONTHS and it doesnt make me feel anymore welcome than normal. Same ol NinerTalk. Guess ill go back to being a dad and playing guitar than wasting more time on forums. BTW the score I believe was 35-17. Thurman Thomas was dealing with injuries that year.

Correction 27-17 I thought we scored 30 + points. Ill have to watch my video yearbook to make sure.

I remember that vividly and its one of my favorite 49ers memories.
What I think NC49erfan82 is trying to convey is that he knows his s**t. That's just what I'm gathering...

Easy slugger. I was just sayin that its damn near impossible to remember something like that. I was 10 yrs old in 95 and all I recall from that season are the big games. I'm not calling you a liar it just seemed like a farce. Take it easy
