What if Hill asked to be traded/released?

I suspect Hill would be really good in a WCO. Hopefully a GM of such a team that runs it agrees with me.
Im at work so I cant see the Twitter link. What did Spikes say specifically?
You mean trade like Mark Roman wants to be traded. Chances are good there won't be any taker. Journeyman qb like Hill can't get a trade unless another team is desperate with injuries.

Hill don't have any muscle to pull anything! He just needs to be glad he's on a team.

I dont see why he would want to be trade. Was making ok money and is there any team in the league he would start?

Besides for Oakland, Buffalo and Cleveland?

Yeah I agree with this as well. And if not, then somebody is going to be released after the preseason once the roster is cut down to 53.

We won't keep 4 QBs on the roster.

I think with all this tweeting, that our team can't possibly be happy with the FO and the lack of urgency to push this team over the hump.

Everyone has an opinion at work in their jobs. Now unfortunately people are dumb enough to post those thoughts on the web, and then have to explain themselves later when called on it

"I heard that Carr signed. He is my teammate now. Which means I'm all in for the guy. Its all about the team. Congrats and welcome aboard."

Hill would be an effective QB with a team that has a strong running game, that way his lack of arm strength wouldn't be such a liability, and then he can focus on the short passing game which is his strength, but he will have to find a team that has those elements, plus he would be a backup where ever he lands

yeah the fact that he went out of his way to respond to Matt M. shows this....

Spikes seems like he is cool with Shaun....I remember last year he was one of the first to tweet how excited he was for the upcoming season and that Shaun would win games for us.

I don't blame Hill for asking for a release....so best of luck to him, hope everything works out.

Hill will end up starting for one of the NFC West teams.

No team in the NFL is going to trade for Shaun Hill. There will be a surplus of QB's on the market, and he will be one of them. Even now, Jeff Garcia > Shaun Hill, and Garcia is unemployed.

You think the Bears would trade for Hill as Cutlers backup? Possibly.

Remember Cody Picket. Hill needs to go to a dome team. Can't throw in those bad weather cities

I doubt it. They are two VERY different quarterbacks. But anything is possible. Watch it will happen
