The 49ers need a QB. No that can't be right.

I don't think the Niners would pass on a qB they clearly think is the guy either. Problem is this group of qb's don't seem to be the answer.

IMO Clausen is the best QB in the draft.

Great News for you then. Because I happen to hate Clausen as much as I hated Smith. So the Niners will prolly draft him.

I think so too. I don't see him as the answer b/c i thin he will be gone by the time the Niners pick. Ad the drat gets closer him and Bradford will start to climb higher and higher b/c they are qb's.

Really, I think he is much better then Smith. But I dont think this a very good QB class. I would draft a QB in the 3rd round or later.

Hard to disagree. Agreed. Agreed.
But it can't be too late either, otherwise that would kind of conflict with the project we already have in Davis

I think this draft is deep in QBs, I like the kid from Oregon State, in about the 4-5th round.
Next year I would like to see this:
1) A. Smith
2) N. Davis
3) A. Quality Rookie!

Teams like the Niners should always be looking for quarterbacks. Nobody on the roster has proven themselves to be a long term top tier starter.

I don't really see us drafting a QB this year. Maybe a late round gamble, but no QB's in this draft class really seem to have "it".
I see Clausen as the next David Carr and Bradford as the next Chad Pennington. The rest are career backups.

Well smith's contract is up after the upcoming season so he should be more than motivated to perform well let's pray it happens
