Frank Gore was the worst running back in football this season. Yes, runs of 60+ yards are great, racking up touchdowns are nice too, but if you're a running back, you better be able to block, or you'll be out of a job no matter how many yards you rush for.
Now I'm not making this thread to tear him down, or to call him a bad player. He's still young, and has the tools to possibly get a lot better and make his game more well rounded. Right now, he's a great runner, he can score touchdowns and he seems to play quite a few snaps. Whether or not it's because he cant block, I'm not sure.
But the point is, he was not a pro bowl player this year, not even close. He can run, he can receive, he can even tie rushing records, but until he improves his AWFUL blocking skills, he will be a liability to this offense. I have faith he can improve his blocking, but by no means should his job be safe.
Greatness inspiring more greatness, people.

that's why you don't take pro football focus as gospel.. cause as good as they organize stats some of their ratings end up with f**ked up rankings.

You must have not watched any games. Gore is our 3rd best offensive lineman. Dude picks up blitzes like a champ.
Watch games not stats.
