More than a couple flaws with this list as Aaron Rodgers is too far down the list I would take him over Mcnabb, Roethlisberger, Warner, Romo, and Eli. Also I would have Vince young higher than Alex Smith and Flacco as well. I think Alex is maybe 17th or 18th because i'd probably have to put Vick and Sanchez higher than him as well.
Vick isn't the player he used to be and Sanchez is horrible with an all pro OLine and a great running game and the best D in the league. I would put Smith 15th or 16th if Warner retires, but those 2 wouldn't be in front of him.
Vick should not be in the top 32. Sanchez should be around the tail end of it; 30ish. River's should be 4th, and probably Aaron Rodgers 5th. Kurt Warner can look "bad" more than anybody in that top 10 (so can Eli though), and hopefully, he is retiring.
It also depends how you are compiling these rankings. Is it based on accolades? Is it based on potential?
If it's accolades, Alex does not even belong on this list because he hasn't made it to the playoffs.
If it's based on potential, or the "it" factor, there are several people missing that should be ahead of Alex. Even though Cutler had a terrible season, he should still be on that list. He is young, smart, has a cannon arm, and a team that is going to be built around him in the future. Carson Palmer was considered the 3rd or 4th best QB in football for several seasons. He should still be in or around the top 10. He doesn't have the weapons that he did, but he will continue to rebound.
Flacco and Ryan are certainly better than Alex, how is that even debatable? Both have been to the playoffs, and in Flacco's case, with less weapons than Alex. I am an Alex supporter, but come on people, he is not in the top 15 yet.
