No, because he's had ONE great year. He'll get his due if he's consistent in performance.

Exactly if this was another teams' player folks would be calling him a one hit wonder.

I dont think that's the reason. If it was, why is Shancoe's name in there?

I think it's just playoff TE's

He's gotta do what he did this season year after year. Players do this where they'll have a break out year then nothin. He keeps it up trust he'll get his props. Not only that but the players know wassup they know VD is a beast.
talkin' bout receptions , meng.

receptions.

Not t.d.'s...not t.d.'s....receptions.

Here is some food for thought.

Points MORE THAN ANY OTHER FACTOR determine the outcome of football games. Period.

If I'm wrong, please include a link to a game where the team who scored less than the other team, was credited with a victory.

That being said, when we are talking about the biggest determining factor of winning football games, Vernon Davis had tied for the best result anyone has EVER made, at his position.

Anyone want to take a guess at what the 49ers record would have been this year, without Vernon Davis?

Let the haters hate, who cares. What he DID DO this season speaks for itself. in fact, it's in the record books.
its NYC wtf did you expect

VD led the NFL in non OL penalties, and in drops. he also was a bad blocker this year. honestly the only thing he did well, was catch TD's and get yardage. i dont blame anyone for not calling him elite yet, or making him all pro. hes starting the pro bowl, which is enough recognition.
