Seems smart for a team to pursue every possible advantage.
FYI, for last year's game against the Cardinals on October 6th, it was 95F at kickoff and 99F at halftime.

Hopefully they are worn by our backups in week 18, and then never, ever again. Absolutely terrible. All black didn't work 10 years ago. It definitely doesn't now. That trend was a mid 2000s thing.
Some sort of alternate color helmet was a given with the shell rule being lifted. The merchandise $$ is too big to pass up… but I was hoping for a silver helmet with the early 1960s look. Or a red helmet. This gets an F.

That would be a sweet alternate jersey for the Seahawks. I'd respect that a lot more than their actual rivalry uniform.

This could easily be done in any color scheme, be it the all-black they are going with this season, or an all-gold, all-white, or all-red scheme.
All that being said, I am not rushing out to buy any jersey, maybe a hat and a hoodie or something, but that's about it.

I like the saloon font. Those are really cool. I still like our main jerseys more. But for a change up once in a while it's fine. Not a big fan of the black ones. We aren't the Raiders. But it's all marketing. They got to come up with like 5 jerseys. Throwbacks, saloon font, black, white, red, whatever else. So you keep buying them obviously and more of them. It's more money for the NFL and the 49ers.
