i guess saloon refers to saloon font

i thought the thing under the sheet would be the new uni, but it looks like an arcade machine

they are playing games with us

notice the outfit in the vid is black and the logo on the back of the outfit

there is a new rule where teams can wear up to three lids, i believe. so i think we are going back to black alt unis folks. with a black helmet. they didn't work last time cuz the helmet was default.

Agreed. It's gonna be the reveal for the NFL rivalry uni they'll wear for one game this season and, my guess, is saloon font helmet (which would be friggin awesome).

My other thought (which would also be amazing and even better) was if they did the OG logo on the helmets of the original sourdough sam. Such a great logo they never utilize.

Guess 3 is the 60's silver unis but I'm leaning toward the other two. Although if they do OG sourdough, I imagine they'll have to have edited the guns out. Can't see them doing that in this day and age.

Awesome logo!

Should be hearing something soon about whatever news the team keeps alluding. Just hoping they keep the classic Home & Away unis for all but maybe 3-4 games.

The biggest issue with the black uniforms weren't the helmet, it was the fact that there wasn't a border on the numbers, which made them very difficult to see on TV.

If they're doing something like this with the black uniforms, it's a massive improvement.

yes, very difficult to read the name on back and number. red on black didn't work well. border would help, so would gold on black, imo.

my evidence for black is everything has meaning in these lil teaser reveals, and the kid has a black hoodie. also when they did the colors for their recent refresh, one of our colors is something called 'Primetime Black'. also the nfl recently did that rule change on helmets and it makes sense to now do different helmets, cuz you can. it's reasonable to think Jed was behind or he approved the 2015 era black unis, and you couldn't do a black helmet in that era, due to league rules. so maybe he wants to try again with a more fitting helmet. but i agree the red on black doesn't work,

footage of the old stuff here. notice the readability issues like you mention, and the helmet just doesn't match the uni

Silver unis would be dope

you can see a couple elements of the brand refresh here. notice the use of cream color. and the map texture design within.

The black jerseys made us look like a bottom feeding ACC/Big East team playing at 6:45PM on Friday night on ESPN7.

Those should never see the light of day ever again. Goes against everything in this franchise's rich history.

Sounds like it's more of a graphics/logo thing they'll be unveiling. I still shudder at the idea of something awful coming by way of Nike.

well the schedule is out, so i would expect a rivalry uni or any uni announcement any time now. they posted this AM about the cardinals and that's our home opener, so perhaps that's the debut of the 'rivalry' uni? are the cards a rival?

To reflect how we finish 2nd place in Super Bowls now instead of 1st? Silver is for the Raiders.

I wish we went back to our '80s unis & logos permanently, while utilizing alt unis a few times a season. c'mon jed get on it
