Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports the San Francisco 49ers might look to acquire a new starting right tackle this offseason, likely in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers offensive line coach Chris Foerster will be retained in the same position in 2010, according to the team.


well...it looks like they made 1 good decision...looking for a new right tackle...the rest of it -
Eh, Foerester is a great coach, CUZ WE GONNA HIT EM IN DA MOUF! I don't about strategy and coaching, just put 5 guys on the line, and have them just slap people around and do the same predictable plays after the otha CUZ THAT'S 49ERS FOOTBALL!!

The Great Bobb is crying tears of joy from heaven knowing that we're on track for the best o-line in the West again. -GOD BLESS THE YORK FAMILY!!!

Continuity will make up for those 5 guys having to block 8 guys.

I just can't wait till draft day. I haven't felt this excited about a draft in awhile..I guess cus I know if we address our needs and they actually pan out we could be pretty good next season.
he can only be a rfa if there's no cba agreement right? so if there is one, and he's a FA does that mean we likely don't retain him?
