yea, thats not gonna set the team back.
Not like we are close to anything
the team is actually pretty close, all you have to do is take a step back and look at the losses this year. 6 of them were 7 points or less. I think 4 of them were by 3 points or maybe it was 3 of them were by 4 points.
Well Im not a fan of Sing so with my opinion I think when the HC keeps you from winning games you a ways off. But if you like sing I see your point
where in my post did I even mention Singletary???
You didnt. He is part of the reason I think we are far off. I blame him for at least 3 of our loses
He is a big part of majority of the losses.

Yeah I know and I feel he isnt the coach for this team thats why I think we are far off. Good coaches IMO are hard to find. We had one in Mooch I thought

No I don't think we want mediocrity. I don't think we are a mediocre team today. I think we are a climbing team. We are passing out of mediocrity. We are a couple of plays away from the playoffs this year - Minnesota game and the Seattle game. We are a couple of dropped punts away from 2-3 more victories. So those things can be corrected. We are 1-3 players away from a championship team. We have played with the big boys and almost had Minnesota, Indianapolis and we did beat Arizona twice. That is not mediocrity. So I see budding success, others see mediocrity.

He has to take some of the blame, no doubt. Lot's of questionable player moves and too many head scratchers on game day. I love Sing's 'no nonsense' approach with the players, but he seems to be in over his head.

He is a rookie coach learning the ropes. I just hope he seeks some kind of mentor to get his ass up to speed on how to be a real NFL HC

What team cleans house every year and wins? What team, regardless of their QB situation, never drafts solid o-lineman, changes coordinators CONSTANTLY, and wins?

I dont want a team that barely makes the playoffs. I want a superbowl team. I want a team that can blowout opponents. I want a team that is in the top 5 in the power rankings. I want the 80's and 90's all over again.
Does this team have what it takes to go to the superbowl? I dont think so. I think the 49ers are headed toward being an average to a slightly above average team. Just look at the Philly game. Just look at how far this team is from becoming a contender. I don't think another year will get us to the level of Philadelphia, or Indianapolis, or the Packers for that matter.
What we need is complete overhaul with keeping a few key players. If not, we are looking at mediocrity for the next few years.
W need to clean house in the webzone of all the negative fans
