That really stands out as a stat.
He has more tackles than the strong safety.
Some guys are just football players and Goldson is just that.
What's surprising is Ray McDonald. I think McDonald has had a great year, I don't care what his stats are, he has forced a lot of pressure on the quarterback up the middle of the pocket and forced a lot of bad throws, as well as helped others get their sacks.
He is definitely a valuable player. Its ashame he couldn't get more stats.
Then again, he is not usually in the game on running downs, so its understandable.

Glad to see Goldson stepping up in his first year starting along with handling the playcalling duties! He should only get better!

why is this in every thread.
6'3" SS with an 5'11" FS?
as though i do see some positive in him moving inside.
he is physical and would match up nicely with TE's.
he would also then be used in a lot of blitzes with berry playing deep.
f**k IT ill jump in on the Berry bandwagon.

His numbers would be higher, if he would wrap people up. Even on those fumble causing hits on MNF, he still wasnt wrapping anyone up, he came in arms down looking to deliver a big shoulder hit, what happens if it was brandon jacobs, and the rb just kept running??

are you serious? those fumbles he caused the guy was already wrapped up and going down he was just coming in for the finishing blow, to b***h about those plays is just stupid

You wrap people up in space. In a pile or when you have help, then you put your hat on the ball.
Goldson played about as well as any safety can in the Monday Night Football game.

VERY bad. Anytime a DB is leading in tackles is bad.
