The longer the season has gone on and I have a full body of work to see the more impressed I am with Singletary. Regardless of whatever our record ends up being I'm kind of impressed with Singletary. Most hard nosed coaches don't change anything. They think their way is the only way. He's flexible enough to play to his players strengths.

We need to utilize the concussion rule on San Diego, because he's not thinking clearly.

I gotta give SD credit. He isn't afraid to voice his opinion and takes accountability. I'm starting to HEART you SD

Not sure how that's a 'puss' move from Smith. I think it's a smart move. You let the man in charge know what you prefer or want. Instead of going to Raye and together undermine what Singletary may preferred the offense to be. In his presser, Singletary said Smith went to him to ask for a change, Singletary agreed to the change and tell Smith to relate it to Raye. Singletary also endorsed more communication between Smith and Raye. I take that as to mean 'you guys have somewhat of a freedom to work out the offensive scheme, I will trust your judgments'

i am still not entirely sure here. i loved the hiring of sing. but then week afer week of the same crap that didn't work.

so i posted in the fire sing thread. he has not entirely lost me, if he comes out and starts being more aggresive i will rebuckle my seat belt on the wagon and stick around.


then we came out in the spread and attacked, and then sat on our lead and stalled in the 2nd half. so i have sat back down, and am waiting for this week. if we come out aggresive again and attack the seahwks( and the cardinals) win or lose i will be buckled down and willing to pass on the "great' coaches that will be available this year.

I think learning and practicing good English is important. Just because we are writing on the Internet doesn't mean that the commonality of the English language should be thrown away.

You have a point but I don't care too much about it. s**tty post on a website is not going to improve my life. Not going to get me a raise, not going to get me a better blow job, not going to win me the lotto, or enter heaven, nothing. Just a bunch of nobodies blah, blah, blahing about nothing.

Now, if posting here at 49erswebzone using proper english and I receive any kind of benefit...by all means, I should retake my English classes again. Otherwise, a waste of my time.

sacleads, you should be laughing at these guys. They are taking the time to be spell checkers for you, so you don't have to. Who needs to waste time with that, when we have our little busy body minions on the Internet do it for us?

Get back to work minions! There are a lot more posts that need correcting!

Being flexibile can be an asset...whether it's sitting one player for another, replacing coaches who aren't effective, etc. What hasn't been proven yet is how good of a coach Singletary really is, or can be. It still bothers me it took he and Raye 12 weeks to figure out we're not a smash-mouth running team. In itself, that's not a good sign...the fact he actually conceeded they're more effective as a passing team is. So, for me, the jury's still out...I'm concerned that after more than a year in the position, he's still not sure what kind of offense he has.

I think so too. This is a good place for players and coaches too read some valuable constructive criticism about who they are, what went wrong, and what should we do to change that. Of course they probably get pretty pissed off at some of what is said in here, but there are some good answers and ideas in here to take note of. Lowell Cohn does come up with a good article now and then, unfortunately he hits home a little too hard sometimes. Especially with the Giants.
