I forget where I read it, but I believe they are already under contract and don't need to be announced.

It's amazing how easy it seems for Harbaugh to recruit talented assistant coaches. Under Sing he either couldn't pick them or they didn't want to coach with him. Either way I think that the Niners are on their way to being the kind of successful team that we expected last season.

Man, I reckon the players have to be knowing there is no room to slack off.
We have coaches who are accustomed to winning and will not accept anything less.

League source: 49ers have hired Geep Chryst to join Jim Harbaugh's staff. He has 18 yrs of NFL experience. He has coached TEs and QBs.
Quote:
Chryst spent five seasons with the Bears as director of research/quality control from 1991-95, three seasons with the Cardinals as tight ends coach from 1996-97 and quarterbacks coach in 1998, and two seasons with the Chargers as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach from 1999-2000 before returning to the Cardinals in 2001.
While with San Diego, Chryst was instrumental in the implementation and development of the team's productive, no-huddle offense. In 1999, the Chargers completed the most passes (332) in 13 years, and quarterback Jim Harbaugh enjoyed the second-highest passing output of his 15-year NFL career and became San Diego's first quarterback since Hall of Famer Dan Fouts to pass for 400 yards in a game.

You know all of these coaches are savvy, intense, and either developed winning programs or come from winning programs. It's such a night and day experience from the coaches we've had previously. I really love this staff thus far. I really expect Niner schemes and player development to take a sharp incline.
Go Niners!!!!

The only thing that has me concerned is the possible clash of egos.
I assume Jim has had some serious talks with coaches like Leavitt , making it clear that he, Jim Harbaugh, is el jefe grande and that he has the last word.
