He's just being modest I think.

If there was a good mix of spread and a regulart style offense it might work. But hopefully they stick with some form of spread offense for the remainder of the season.

I'm agreeing to disagree. You have your opinion and I have mine. I agree with you that the coaching staff needs to do a better job at recognizing what works. I cant argue the 6 TD's from the spread offense. Its a fact Alex looks better in the shotgun formation. Why we didn't do it in the 1st half is beyond me.

With that said, Coach Sing and staff can't be blamed for executing the plays on the field........

The reason why I'm not asking for a new coach is that he will want to come in and bring in "his" guys. And I think we have some good guys we should try to resign. I'm just worried about another rebuild. We just need to get the offense figured out.

Billick even said that watching the 49ers practice and we basically just practice running the ball. We spent most of TC practicing running the ball and it is clearly not working. Week 11 of the season and Singletary has yet to figure it out!

Unlike what Nolan did to him, Smith is not going to throw his coaches under the bus.

I am starting to think that Singletary just doesn't get it. What is the point of a conservative offense that can't move the ball or chew the clock? We are constantly left with a second-half deficit in which the offense has to air it out and take huge risks anyway.

Why do we even have an offense?

The new Jimmy Raye offensive game plan: 3 kneel downs and a punt. Absolutely no chance for turnovers. This is it people. This is the answer.

Why would any one want extremely overpriced guys who haven't won a SB in over a decade and who left mediocre teams just last year that they put together themselves?

Nostalgia doesn't equal success.
