Props to McCloughan for locking up Tarrell Brown to a pretty cheap, long term contract. We got a legitimate starting cornerback who just signed a long term deal in which he is really making nickel cornerback money. Im really impressed with Brown, I always liked coming out of Texas and now finally given the chance to be a starter, he is not dissapointing. He is not very big but man he is by far the most natural, fluid cornerback we have and as you will find in the NFL. When you hear draft scouts talking about corners they always tell you they are looking for corners with smooth, fluid hips who can change direction on the drop of a dime and TBrown does/has that. He is very quick and can run with most WR's and has a little swagger to him. Very good young football player who should only get better and better.

we shall revisit this thread after the arizona game. if he can do what nate does to fitzgerald, then yes.

I hope Nate is coaching up the other DBs on how to handle Fitz and Boldin, and on his run support

well there's a possibility that Nate could be back for that game
Glad we have him locked up.
Yeah he is a player and had first round talent. But he had some character concerns after being caught with some Marijuana and running with a bad crowd. I`m glad he slipped to the 5th rd. It is an absolute steal.

Let's hope so. We need all hands on deck.
Actually, isn't Shawntae usually locked up on Fitzgerald?

It seemed like both Shawntae and Nate saw action going up against Fitz throughout the course of the game. We should have Clements back for the Arizona game...

I fully expect to have Staley back before the Arizona game, I heard 6 weeks was the worst case scenario. The question is, do we move Sims to RT when Staley comes back? I know Sims is a better LT than RT but right now Adam Snyder is playing like Kwame Harris at RT, giving up critical sacks and just flat out struggling. Actually he is worse than Kwame because Kwame could actually run block.
I still haven't seen enough of him to evaluate that. Why do some of you guys get over hype over 1 or 2 games is beyond me. Reference Josh Morgan. They guy get's burnt next week and you will see threads hating on the guy. I'll wait to see more games to give him a full evaluation. He looks like his hips aren't that fluid I love his size and speed. So far so good.

I think TBrown has always played very well and consistant when given a chance. He played well last year as our nickel corner, I think a TC injury set him back a bit plus Shawntae Spencer just came in better than ever and that is why he is beat out but the result now is we have two pretty good corners in their prime.

He has played a decsent amount. He had 2 picks last year. He is really solid and will be starting for years to come.
