We play bad against bad teams (Houston, Tenn., Chicago) and good against good teams (Minn., Indy, Ariz.). We need to be more consistent.

I actually agree that Tennessee is not a bad team, but they were a struggling, floundering team when we played them. That's my point. I think the Niners playing according to the opponent's ability. They're playing better against good teams than anyone thinks the Niners can, and worse against teams that are struggling.

No we're not. With the exception of the Atlanta game our defense has been solid against everyone. Our offense sucks, and it never puts up a good performance.

Kind of reminds me of the Lakers some years back where they always seemed to play down to their opponents. seriously though, it's the offensive line that is our weekest link and causing the most problems.

No they weren't, they were a team that started 0-6 and made a QB change, they figured out how to play football again and we played them at the wrong time.

They came into that game down, though. They had won just one game, against a horrbile Jacksonville team.

This is the same team (but without Haynesworth) that went 13-3. Injuries and bad breaks put them at 2-6.
