I would say no.

I mean, I just wonder what it's going to take for this guy to show even the slightest bit of improvement?

Last season he showed promise into being a pretty solid RG. Something had to have changed. What ever changed just change it back damn it!

He is starting to turn into a bust.
He had a good block on the drive that went three and out after Smith's first td. the run was to the left side and went no where, but he was blocking his guy 5 yds down field.
Chilo is a beast who will be an anchor at RG for years to come. He's just too new -- came out a year early, hardly played last year because NOWIN didn't play rookies.

He will get it together, and it's a great plan to rotate him with Snyder so that he can get coached up during the game.

Chilo Rachal appears to be regressing, how does that happen? I believe he allowed a sack and false started on consecutive plays. An unnoticed OL is usually the best kind, he seemed to me in front of the cameras on replays way too often.
he got beat badly by a 40 year old d-lineman

it called a good line coach! Our coach has never been good
The entire Oline improved once we spread them out. I think the Dline just got too tired to effectively pass rush. However, Chilo is not ready to start. He's too raw.

I was enraged watching Rachal whiff on his blocks. The Dlineman is less than 12 inches in front of him and he can't even get a hand on a him? WTF is that? Maybe I could see that happening to a slow OT, facing a speed rusher on the edge, but and interior lineman? That's not acceptable.

Wragge isn't the answer, but he's a better option at this point.

This is totally a guess but I remember reading that Rachel left USC a year early because his mother was sick and they needed the money. Not sure how his mom is now but we never get news about what is going on personally with a player.

Like this year we found out that Alex's best friend committed suicide last year which affected Alex mentally. Maybe something is going on personally with Rachel?

Too early but he can't play now.
Hopefully some time on the bench and a new O-Line coach in the offseason will do him some good.
