Josh Morgan looked really slow

To me it looked like he thought he was by himself and decided to slow down. Say bye two #2 spot cuz Crabtree is taking it. Nice way to convince us that Crabtree should take the #2 spot dumb a*s.

I agree. I understand the frustration though. If not for 2 lapses in concentration Morgan would have 2 of the longest receiving TD's in back to back weeks for our team. The whole team played below our standard yesterday. Fans just have to learn to live with it.

No that's what I call most of the threads started in the last 12 hours.

That's just frustration, which is the normal response to a game like this. I mean, would you say that Mike Singeltary was acting like a baby then? He was yelling and throwing tantrums all over the place yesterday. I know it gets ridiculous in here sometimes, but come on, 45-10 at home? We played like crap. I had more fun this weekend listening to the Blue Angels roaring above my house than watching this game.

Back to my original point, I understand frustration but fans need to learn to deal with it. Some people are already throwing in the towel because of this loss when just 2 days ago those same people are making playoff plans. I'm as big a fan as anyone on this site and the loss was extremely disappointing but I also realize it was only our 5th game and there are plenty more games left on the schedule.

And I'll say it again...
The '94 team was blown out by the Eagles in week 5, and Steve Young played worse than Shaun Hill. I'm not saying we're that good (obviously we aren't), but being blown out once means nothing. How the team responds in the next 5 weeks means everything.

Yeah, but it's not even about the blowout. Our offense really hasn't done much all season. We're lucky to be 3-2 even. If we played anyone but the Rams last week, that would've been a loss. And we barely escaped Arizona with a win. I know we aren't as bad as this and it's only one game, so I'm looking forward to the Houston game. I think we'll be up to the challenge. I expect a close game. But if we lose, we'll be 3-3 and potentially 2nd in the division going in to the Colts game. You could say that the Texans game is a must-win.

texans is a must gm cuz honestly i feel no shot to win in indy against a hall of famer in manning. after that we can possibly have a losing streak and kill the season

josh morgan excites me with his abilities but it seems he took off several plays yesterday that really disappointed me! Finish out your runs and never run half speed, cause u never know when the ball is coming your way!

And the 94 team were down 0-14 the following week to the Lions. Steve Young was getting beat up and crawling on the turf. They played lights out after that though.

Willie Wood of the old Green Bay Packers said "Tackling is when someone is running down the street with everything you own under his arm."

If Morgan had that kind of attitude, no way he doesn't manage to score.

I like Josh, but perhaps people expect a little too much from a 6th rounder that shows occasional flashes of looking good in the NFL. I think guys like Josh are only getting attention because they don't have any WRs in there yet that makes an impact. Hopefully Crabtree & Jones can become difference makers in the second half of the season.

What is it about Morgan that has everyone so excited? He's a 6th round draft choice who just happens to be the second best reciever we have. I see nothing in the guy. Put in Crabtree.

Seemed like he just ran out of gas to me. The same thing happens to Gore on long runs, but nobody says anything.

There's no excuse fpr running out of gas at this point, esp with the conditioning Sing put everyone thru. Seeems i recall some half=ass excuse he made some weaks ago about tired legs!
He's starting to remind me of another practice warrior, Taylor Jacobs. Looked great in camp and preseason, but flamed out in games. Morgan has got to live up to his promise and SOON or it'll be Bruce, Crabtree and Jones pretty soon. Maybe even Hill? All I know is, Morgan isn't getting it done by dropping balls, slowing up, giving up on routes. and even short-arming a couple of times! Time to put up or shut up!

i dont think he ran out of gas. He thought he was clear to coast into the endzone.

dude you dont just run out of gas after 60 yards. He is an NFL WIDE RECEIVER!

He clearly let up at the 10 yard line because he thought he had it made. Im so tired of this crap in the NFL. Finish the play and quit showboating. Celebrate after.
