On how much of a relief it is to get it done:

This is a great group of guys to play with. These guys are winners and for him to be a part of this and the desire that I have felt from him when I’ve been around him. He is a football guy so he hasn’t played one play in the NFL yet, but it’s just a vibe that I’ve gotten every time that I’ve been around him. So I think it’s a win-win situation.”

i was watching csnb and Mchloughen said he indeed have a playbook.

I dont think so. He signed because we cornered him. The team not only survived without him, but actually made a name for itself during the process. Basically, we took away every angle Crabtree was using against us. Media attention, wins, respect from other teams, etc.

i was watching csnb and Mchloughen said he indeed have a playbook.

I like the way Scott always states how the contract that crabtree signed is good for a player selected in the 10th slot.. He is quite happy with the contract they accepted but doesn't want to rub it in their face.
