Thank God this guy SUCKS NOW! We have plenty of guys to return kicks and this move can keep J.Hill on the roster. I think if we're going to keep Spurlock on the roster we should give him a shot at PR/KR. Keep Walker back there and give Clements a chance or 2 per game.

I don't know what's up with Rossum. I wouldn't give up on him. He brought crackle to the return game. It may be he's spent, but the dude is very fast. I hope he comes back and lights it up a couple of more times.

Funny you say that...Battle fumbled one and didn't do sh!t with his chances. Rossum is still the best return man on the team.

I think we should be using Battle more on 3rd downs at WR, he was money when healthy last year, but I'm not a fan of him in the return game

I never said Battle was the answer, theme of the thread is Rossum sucks and got benched. In fact I said give Spurlock a chance at PR, I think Walker/Robinson are fine at KR.

Arnaz Battle is worse though because he can't even fair catch the ball. This is a major problem for us right now, the PR posistion.

The problem with Rossum is you can waist a roster spot on Punt/Kick return specialist that isn't very good.
As for Battle, he hasn't had the entire off season, training camp, and first 3 weeks of the season practicing as a punt returner. He will be better next week.

Rossom would have had a punt returned for a TD if Coffee didn't block from behind a couple games back
