Are you happy with Hill's Performance?

btw, about those b***hing about yards, those come with passing attempts, he is bottom of the league when it comes to that stat, so obviously he doesn't have 1k+ yards already

LOL we win 35-0 and there's b***hing on here.

Don't know about you guys, but I was on cloud 9 yesterday with a wood!!!

Till those damn Bills brought me back down to earth, I cried for a minute but I was up and going again walking around with a wood all day long.....35-0 baby!!!!
As for Ceaddar, this guy should't even be allowed to post.

We're all dumber for having read his tireless comments about being in love with Alex Smith.

In his last post, he mentions that we win in spite of Hill. Isn't that funny? First off, that's not the case. He has played mistake free football and has put together a couple important drives during the first four games. Secondly, the QB that we won games in spite of was SMITH! His happy feet, fumbling, indecision, inability to go through reads, overthrows, sacks... it's absurd.

Then again, Ceadder knows more than the coaches and the 3-1 record we currently own.
It all comes down to wins. Those are all that matter.

Hill wins games.

Smith loses games.

Case closed.
Did he cost us the game? NO
Did he win the game himself? NO
Did he make plays when he needed to?
Am I happy to win another game? YES.

Look at the names below our boy Hill. With the exception of Favre and Ryan, I wouldn't want to be listed anywhere near those chumps.

Who cares about passing yards. I'ts not like Shaun gets to call the plays. It's all about how well a QB can execute the plays that are called for him. Check the QB rate....

And, I don't give a flying f$(k about the rating when I'M TALKING ABOUT HOW FEW YARDS HE HAS THROWN.

700 yards in four games. People would $h!t themselves if the name on the back of the jersey were Smith.

Ummm, yeah... Let it go man. Smith hasn't performed well enough to be our starter and Shaun has. So, relax and let it go.

No, Smith hasn't. But, I'm also not going to run around and annoint Hill as the Savior of the Franchise. He's winning, but he ain't good. I guess I just demand a bit more from the 49ers.

When pissing & moaning is a part of someone's character, they will still do it during good times as well as bad.

Who said he's the savior of our franchise? People here either want Joe Montana or nothing, sorry, but Peyton/Eli or Rivers or Cutler aren't gonna be FA or traded any time soon.

Look man, don't be a pinhead. I've said time and again that it matters not who QB1 is so long as it's not our backup. You can spin this to being love for Alex, but 3 and outs are the bane of this team.

Don't even pretend that this win over the SOSAR squad is of any real importance other than it's Divisional.

If you're dumber it's cause you were dumb for reading it and not having the brain power to achieve intelligent consumption of the contents that I posted.

Don't blame me for your own shortcoming.

~Ceadder

*Edit* And it is a fact that we are winning in spite of Hill. 3 and Outs mean stalled drives that put the ball back in the hands of the Opposing teams. I love our Defense but at some point they can't be the only successful unit.

I'm sorry if I expect MORE from our team. If you have a problem with that, maybe you should just not read what I have to say. It's not like I'm twisting your arms to do so.

LOL... this never ends

The only questions to ask...

Have the 49ers as a team been playing much better football defensively? I think we can all agree that the answer is a big YES.

the one of pure debate is...

Could Alex do AS well or better than Shaun Hill is currently doing? With THAT defense, I'd honestly think YES... but it's impossible to know for sure... and it is what it is. So we should just enjoy the WINS... hope for the best... and let things play out. Hill isn't playing great football, but he's doing enough. I suspect that some people are less happy because they feel the wrong QB is under center and learning as he goes. That is fine, but at least be happy that the team is winning, and Hill is doing "okay" as the starter. It's ugly... it's often boring... but it's somehow working, and we ALL want wins.

Just can't keep women happy can you? Oh my bad..

I'm happy that we're 3-1. A fan that is not happy with a winning record is not a fan.

But I cannot be happy with a "Game Manager" at QB. Any one of our QBs' could do that. To suggest otherwise is myopic at best.

No offense Ceadder, but I bet if A. Smith was 10-4 as a starter and 7-0 at home, you'd be singing a different tune.

You guys realize hill is in the top 10 in QB rating, tied for top 10 in TD passes and has more yards per attempt than Tom Brady and a higher completion percentage than Brady, Romo, Sanchez, A.Rodgers, Palmer and P.Rivers. Oh yeah and he's 3-1 this year. Now if he only had some real NFL quality WR's to throw to....

Hill's the Rodney Dangerfield of NFL QBs.
