The go-ahead drive was truly an IDENTITY drive. The kind of moment a team should rally around and build from. Hill was fantastic in that drive, when he was allowed to put the game on his shoulders.
Sure, we want to be a running team, and we should try to find a way to develop our running game. But that drive should show us that we have the ability to pass the ball and we shouldn't be afraid to mix it up.
I was very, very impressed by Hill in the 4th quarter.

Pure and simple.
I think it's funny that people believe that any OC would have success with no blocking. Especially one who's plays are completely dependent on timing.
Ray may not indeed be a good OC, but that's not what was evident today. Anytime the opposing DLine is paying rent in your backfield your offense is going to look bad...
Did you notice how the pass protection improved on our TD drive? That's because we spread the field! The playcalling was responsible for a great part of the o-line struggle.

Until Hill was able/allowed to audible and NOT run what Raye called, we started to move the ball.
Raye looks JUST LIKE Hostler. That was some ass-playcalling.
That's as civil as I can be.
against a 3 man line ....

yes he is a dump ass when you tell the whole world that you are going to run the ball 60% of the time they are going to stack up the line until hill proves he can throw the ball 50 yards , oh hill did and we beat arizona but Ray is a joke needs to let go !

as long as we keep hill in and alex on the bench, we can win ugly games like this. if alex was in there he would've blew the game for us somehow.

Yes, the play calling was bad. And yes, the o-line needs to play better. I think the biggest problem today was the o-line blocking scheme. Ari d-line is too quick and the d was selling out too much on the run to zone block. They should have had the o-line put a hat on a hat more often.

Hill did not suck the whole game. He is a winner, and improved his record as a starting qb. He threw a nice long ball and did it all with almost no running game.
He just beat the reigning NFC champions in their own backyard.
BooYAH!!!

He had his hands tied with the Oline play being so bad. Gore had holes if would have cut back. Got the job done against a very aggresive D on the road. It will only get better.

The oline was responsible for the bad oline play. Raye only calls the plays, he cannot get out there and execute it for them.

1. O line looked terrible! Dockett seemed to be on a jail break every other play
2. Frank Gore....2 yard a clip wont get it done with our offense going 60-40 run to pass!!! Not all his fault (see above)
3. D stepped up, got some pressure, made key plays when we were supposed to!(granted AZ dropped plenty of catchable balls)
4. jimmy ray....< Jim Holster
5 Crabtree is a f*g!

I think the Cards D had lost a little steam nearing the end of that drive.
Don't get me wrong...i don't care for the playcalling either but it's not the biggest of my worries.
Baas might as well have been grass today. Rachal wasn't far behind except for a few good plays...

Did we seriously go run, run, run, punt 4 times? I hope I counted that wrong.
Pretty sure we did.
A win makes up for it though. I'm happy!

Can anyone please explain to me how playcalling and NOT execution in the trenches is at fault here?
I'm not trying to be sarcastic. I really just saw our line getting dominated.
