There should be some basic standard. He could have changed it already, since another poster did put the correct spelling: DIYRAL.

I gotta admit, i was wrong here. I didn't think that he'd make it even after his impressive performance.

LambdaChi, is that you? That's totally Lamba's thing right there, haha.

Briggs, I thought, was at worst a practice-squad guy, but with our lack of depth, I like that he was kept. If he can improve strength and leverage without losing speed, and he can pull a "James Harrison" -- He could be something special in a few years. He's got the tools, we just have to harvest them.

If Haralson can't improve and Lawson still doesn't show anything, it's time we get replacements. We should've already done so in the draft, but we need to see more. Briggs needs this year and next before he'll really be making a substantial difference.

Maiocco tweets that 49ers promote Diyral Briggs to 53 man roster and release Marques Harris.

I like what I saw from Diyral in preseason. I remember hearing from Spikes and Lawson that Briggs was one of the most impressive young players in camp
