The OL is just pathetic.

No kidding. Are we not drafting the right players or is it coaching? It's like we're unable to develop talent.

Truly pathetic.

So Smith homers and Hill homers have both lost. Go figure.

Except we've actually WON with hill starting.

Really?????????????

you forget ATL/ HOU / MIN already??????????

Min was on the D...He didn't get to finish Hou and our only WINS this year were with Hill under center.

excuses...........
Crappy day

Boy I'm glad they reviewed that, real game changer there refs!

How can we just implode? What is it going to take to get a consistent team?

As much as I hate to say it, in our current state, we are not on that next level. MEDIOCRACY!

We aren't even average right now.

Oh but we were so close to winning at least 4 games we lost(including today). That's what the optimists will say, but the reality is we still the same Niners of the past few years.

The Vikings loss was heartbreaking. The Texans loss was to little, to late. The Colts loss was what could have been.

This loss, however, is the most disappointing loss of the season because of how we played. No consistency. No big plays when they are needed. Inability to beat one of the worst teams in the league - in our house. Playoff caliber teams do not lose games like this. Just does not happen. Unbelievably sad today. Disappointing and sad.

Agreed. Heartbreaking...

We all BELIEVED that we were an up-and-coming team, that we were better than our record, that Singletary could motivate and rev up our players to make a difference and win these "must-win games", that the next guy (Alex) could make a difference...etc...etc...etc. So many reasons to believe...gone for another year.

problem with our QBs. Hill can't throw deep, Smith can't protect the football. Nate not ready yet.
O-line Swiss cheese
Defence no passrusher.
Parys is hot air and is poor in coverage.
Manny is OK in coverage but no passrusher.

You're right, none of them are ready for this seson. So why didn't we get an experienced vet? there are better QBs out there! Garcia!

I actually liked the play calling today, it wasn't all runs up the middle.

The play calling was great. The OL had a pretty decent game aside from Snyder, who is brutal.

The difference is Smith's 3 turnovers and some untimely defensive gaffes.

The oline didn't have a good game. Smith was just moble enough to get away from the rush.

people have a shallow awareness of the team...the QB is the star and that's all that matters

Where's all the Alex Smith homers at?

yay for rooting for your team to lose, just to say "i told you so"

I don't think Shaun Hill could have thrown 3 interceptions if he tried.

are you f'n serious? hill is an average backup, he was garbage his last two games. smith is better, but that isn't saying much.

They both suck, but Hill is not as bad as Alex.

Hill is worse than Alex

right back at you

Hill is worse than Alex if the goals are interceptions and loses.

Our O-line is injured and needs one player... Our QB's suck on all levels. Aaron Rodgers has a oline worse than ours.
