Shocker!!
Another thread...another misspelled Niners' name.
ZEIGLER
P.S. At least HILL was spelled correctly.
Honestly, how many times in your life are you going to spell Z-E-I-G-L-E-R ? And how often will it come up in conversation? His name goes against the English language rules. I before E except after C unless like neighbor or weight. I'm pretty sure ZEIGLER doesn't fall into that category. Get a life, and stop wasting your time correcting other people's spelling it gets annoying and quickly.
Look, if you can't spell the guy's name right, then don't post a thread. There are no guns pointed at your head.
While appearing to be mean and nasty, I'm doing you a favor. No one is going to respect anything you say if you can't spell the main subject's name correctly.
It's like saying, "I like Shaun Hile". Or "I like Frank Goar"! You end up becoming a joke on the board.
Stop being so picky. The point is that a name like zeigler is very uncommon and no one gives a rats ass besides you if someone spells it wrong.
I'm glad you spelled it correctly.
The first word in his title is spelled wrong. Nice start. While it may not bother you, it does bother others, including myself.
The original poster has the obligation to spell
the subject of their thread correctly. It should be a base requirement, especially if it is a player's name. If the subject was a depth chart, and he got the name wrong, I wouldn't even blink. However, THIS IS THE SUBJECT!!!!
What this shows to the board is that the poster doesn't know the first thing about this guy, since he can't even spell his name correctly. And, unless you want a flood of thoughtless threads littering the board, we should be hammering the posters who cannot even meet the most basic standards. This is not an overwhelming word to spell. It has 7 LETTERS!!!
The poster has the responsibility to correct their errors. All it takes is hitting the edit button (everybody...OOHH..AHHH) and changing two letters. Hardly complicated.
