we're not hating on him. We're just saying that the guy is not better than Hill.

ok mr 49er if u say that what are basing ur fact on hill played whole yr had 30 receptions 317 yrds 2 tds 16 games 10.9 aver zeigler played limited plays in only 6 games had 5 catches 97 yds zero td so give him whole season and u do the math 19.4 yrs avergae tell me who is better

Is the tone of this really necessary. Why call the guy "Mr 49er" just because he doesn't entirely agree with you?

Yards per catch factored from a mere 5 catches is a meaningless statistic.

Hill, having actually started 2 games and having collected 30 passes, clearly has the edge. Neither of them are exactly greybeards. I have no idea how people can form any sort of judgement from just 5 catches, though.

lol epic fail.

Through the first 7 games, Hill had 0 receptions, 0 yards, 0 games started, I don't even know if they threw him the ball.

Because the scheme was for him to run a longer route and he made 1 or a 2 catches a game, makes him better?

I thought Jason Hill did a great job last year especially in 3rd down situations. He's a bigger kid who can't get jammed off the line. He does a good job using his speed to get quick separation and find a soft spot in the defense.

Also thought that the he was starting to get a good rhythm with Shaun Hill. For a team that has had problems converting on 3rd down the last 5 years, overlooking Jason Hill would be a bonehead move.

Only problem with the kid is his history of hamstring injuries.

I also seem to remember Jason Hill being a very good "gunner" on the kickoff squad. He's good at using his speed to be the first guy to make contact.

Even after my post, it seems like half the board still can't spell his name correctly. I chose a different method.

Yeah, that's the joke lol

I really like Jason Hill, but Ziegler has the confidence of both Qb's. The dark horse is Arnaz Battle. Battle was really reliable in 2006 and 2007 especially on third down plays.


Jason Hill you need to step up and secure your spot on this team for next year.

I'd like to see them both work out, but I'd take Hill.
