i think shaun hill will start. but thats what the coaches want. bc the starters wont get much playing time. they want smith in there gettin reps.

it should be whoever has had the best camp... which is............. alex smith

I know everyone wants Hill 2 start

i understand that, but you know Smith can try at least

So, i wud be fine if hill starts

but Im going with Alex

Here's another thought on the matter.

Maybe Coach S wants to see how Alex performs under pressure especially with all the Nolan VS Smith hype. You know the fans will be unrelenting against him so he needs to man up, take it in the cohones, and come out fighting.

Just like in TC, he will get he cheers once he is successful. If not, it will be a very long night for Smith and see his chances to start diminish.

Even if Smith starts, it doesn't mean that he has been chosen as the starter.

Go Smith and Hill!!!

Lol, hate the guy all you want, but Crabtree has hands of glue.

I'm a Hill fan, but i think that Smith should start this game.

We've already seen how Hill looks in a game last year. He did pretty damn good. We haven't seen Smith in a game in almost 2 years. Let the guy show his stuff, if he has any, so we can judge his play with our starters, not guys like Michael Spurlock and Zeigler.....

Also, I think its fair to give Smith a good shot at destroying Nolan's defense.
